Tron Energy is one of the major supplier of electric buses to Taiwan market, playing a key role in supporting the Ministry of Transportation’s policy to promote the electrification of urban buses. In 2025, Tron Energy’s total vehicle deliveries reached a record high.
Tron Energy’s electric buses are equipped with a self-patented liquid-cooled battery system, a T-Box smart vehicle system, and a cloud-based big data management system for the electric bus fleet. Combined with self-developed intelligent systems, power replenishment systems, and motor systems, the entire vehicle incorporates these key hardware and software systems. This has enabled Tron Energy to pass the Ministry of Transportation’s “City Bus Electrification Promotion Plan” qualification review, allowing domestic bus operators to receive subsidies for their purchases.
Tron Energy is not only a domestic player but also competes internationally. By applying its successful experience from Taiwan, Tron Energy has successfully opened up overseas markets. Looking at the industry, Tron Energy is the most proactive and successful in expanding its exports. On November 17th 2025, a delegation led by Prime Minister from Saint Kitts and Nevis in the Caribbean region, visited Tron Energy Taiwan to inspect the preparation of electric buses soon to be delivered to Saint Kitts and Nevis. These buses will primarily be used for school bus services, while also promoting local green energy transformation and sustainable transportation development.
